2025 K-12 GERA Invitation

 
The Global K­12 Education Research Association (K-12 GERA)was launched by Shijiazhuang Foreign Language Education Group (SFLEG) in 2014 in Shijiazhuang, China. Its membership includes 60 schools from 18 countries. Its mission is to build a global K-12 education research platform, to carry out international education exchange and cooperation, to promote K-12 education reform and innovation, and to serve the sustainable development of society. The association holds an academic conference every year on the hot issues of common concern in basic education around the world.
 
From October 11^thto 13^th, 2025,SFLEGwill hold the 2025 K-12 GERA Conference on “Improving Education through Digital Innovation”. We sincerely invite you to attend this conference and deliver a20 minutesspeech(Please see the attachment for description of the theme) to share your educational philosophy andsuccessful practice!
 
K-12 GERA is financially supported by SFLEG and Chinese local government. We will cover the costs of speakers’ international flight tickets, accommodations and food during the conference.

Attachment
The United Nations Transforming Education Summit held in September 2022 released the action initiative of "Assuring and improving quality public digital learning for all", calling on all countries in the world to fully utilize the advantages of digital technologies to improve teaching and learning.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has been actively promoting the agenda of improving education through digital innovation. Digital technologies have evolved from stand-alone projects to networks of tools and programmes that connect people and things across the world, and help address personal and global challenges. Digital innovation has demonstrated powers to complement, enrich and transform education, and has the potential to speed up progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) for education and transform modes of provision of universal access to learning.
How can we improve education with digital innovation? How can we cope with the challenges and prevent risks? Please share your ideas and concepts, effective strategies, precautions and practical experience on improving education through digital innovation from the following five aspects:

1. Improving teaching through digital innovation
2. Improving learning through digital innovation
3. Improving teacher development through digital innovation
4. Improving academic evaluation through digital innovation
